The scheme offers financial assistance to employers and Basic Training Providers (BTPs) to encourage apprenticeship training.ย

๐ The government shares 25% of the prescribed stipend, up to โน1,500/month per apprentice with employers.

๐น Designated Trades (DT) โ Government-notified skill-based trades
๐น Optional Trades (OT) โ Customised trades created by employers based on business needs
๐ Eligibility Criteria for Employers
โ๏ธ Must have EPFO/ESIC/Udyog Aadhar
โ๏ธ Must possess a valid TIN Number
โ๏ธ Must be registered on the Apprenticeship Portal โ www.apprenticeshipindia.gov.in
โ๏ธ Must have an Aadhaar-linked bank account

๐ง Optional Trades (OT):
๐ Basic Training is integrated into the apprenticeship duration.
๐ Focuses on orientation and soft skills.
๐ง Designated Trades (DT):
๐ Basic Training follows the approved government syllabus.
๐ Delivered by BTPs in certified facilities.
